Field Trip: Spring in Berkeley

I love Spring in Berkeley. I love the cool mornings with fog that melts into sunshine around 11am. I love spying bird nests in creative spaces. I love the moody sunsets before the fog rolls back across the bay. I love all the gardens. And in this climate,

many things grow...

UC Botanical Garden

, where plants are divided by region. There's a lovely herb and vegetable section, an arid cactus greenhouse, and (my favorite) the lush Japanese garden. 

There are so many acres to explore!
